MECHANICAL ABYSS

Mechanical Abyss is an action dungeon crawler rogue-like game that takes place in an ancient mechanical labyrinth, you play as Vira who is trying to break free from the abyss’s control and discover the truth of the Abyss’s source. Build up your chip deck, unlock power ups, and defeat rooms of enemies to grow stronger and journey deeper to the bottom of the ever spreading Mechanical Abyss.

BREAK THE CYCLE 

Death is not the end, no matter how you die you will always be re-created again. Experiment with different weapons, unlock unique perks for your chip deck and discover your own unique builds and powers to get even deeper with every run. 

ONLY DOWN

Mechanical labyrinth left dormant has spread its corruption through the grounds and surface destroying the cycle of the world. No one has ever been able to discover its source but it is said to lie deep below underground. Every layer you encounter is different, filled with even more challenging enemies that await to stop you from going further.

The future for Mechanical Abyss

With gamescon concluded, there are many things left we still wish to add to Mechanical Abyss to make it true the exact game we wanted to create. We are hoping to continue development of this game in the coming future and add and fix all kinds of features to fully bring to life the full experience.

- Adding in More rewards and Power ups 

- New resources you can collect and use to upgrade Vira and Th3-0 

- Narrative elements to bring the world of Mechanical Abyss to life.

- A whole new area to explore with its own theme and layouts! 

Bug fixing and Tweaks

There are many things we have learned about the game and elements we want to improve so we intend to fix and refine a lot of existing elements to make the game feel as good as possible to play. Some of these include...

- Player collisions issues

- Shooting over certain map features

- Invulnerable Dash

- Tweaking enemy and weapon balance

These are just some of the few ideas we have for the game and we hope you are just as excited as we are. We are considering a future steam release for Mechanical Abyss so stay on the look out for that!
